Description

Marshall Scholarships finance young Americans of high ability to study for a graduate degree in the United Kingdom. Up to fifty Scholars are selected each year to study at the graduate level at a UK institution in any field of study.

Current rising seniors and recent alumni are eligible for the Marshall Scholarship as long as they meet the following eligibility criteria:

To be eligible for a 2023 Marshall Scholarship, candidates must:

  • Be citizens of the United States of America (at the time they apply for a scholarship);
  • (By the time they take up their scholarship ie September 2023) hold their first undergraduate degree from an accredited four-year college or university in the United States;
  • Have obtained a grade point average of not less than 3.7 on their undergraduate degree at the time of application. We do not accept rounded GPA's.
  • Have graduated from their first undergraduate college or university after April 2020.
  • Not have studied for, or hold a degree or degree-equivalent qualification from a British University or GCSE or A Levels taken at school in the UK.

All students applying for the Marshall Scholarship MUST have a university nomination and follow the university's application procedures and timeline.

Please complete the Intent to Participate form by June 29, 2022. 

Priority Pre-applications are due on June 29, 2022, at 3 PM.

The campus deadline for a COMPLETE Marshall application is August 17, 2022, at 3 PM. Applications that are not submitted by this deadline will not be considered for university nomination. The Marshall application will be available on their site in early June 2022.
