Description

Marshall Scholarships finance young Americans of high ability to study for a graduate degree in the United Kingdom. Up to fifty Scholars are selected each year to study at the graduate level at a UK institution in any field of study.

Current rising seniors and recent alumni are eligible for the Marshall Scholarship as long as they meet the following eligibility criteria:

To be eligible for a 2024-2025 Marshall Scholarship, candidates must:

Be citizens of the United States of America (at the time they apply for a scholarship);(By the time they take up their scholarship i.e. September 2025), hold their first undergraduate degree from an accredited four-year college or university in the United States, and have obtained a grade point average of no less than 3.7 on their undergraduate degree at the time of application. Marshall does not accept rounded GPAs. Applicants must have graduated from their first undergraduate college or university after April 2022. Applicants must not have studied for, or hold a degree or degree-equivalent qualification, from a British University or GCSE or A Levels taken at school in the UK.

All students applying for the Marshall Scholarship MUST have a university nomination and follow the university's application procedures and timeline.

Please complete the Intent to Participate form by June 26, 2024. 

Priority Pre-applications are due on June 26, 2024, at 3 PM.

The campus deadline for a COMPLETE Marshall application is August 14, 2024, at 3 PM. Applications that are not submitted by this deadline will not be considered for university nomination. The Marshall application will be available on their site in early June 2024.
